Testimonials
Kiana is truly a light in this dark world, every time we speak my heart expands. They give me HOPE and inspire me to think and live beyond my wildest dreams!!!!
Jordan M.
I found myself reflecting on the points that were made during the sessions, long after. In fact, the conversations we had inspired many conversations in my personal life… I was given the opportunity to reflect deeply on my relationships and in the process learned so much about myself.
Kaitlyn C.
Kiana has always been able to create and cultivate an environment that supports any feelings without judgment or prescription in the moment… They did not push or lecture. Instead, they listened and collaborated with me as I made these changes.
Codie B.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your approach to this work?
So much of how we’re told to exist in the world is harmful, and we’re made to feel like ‘bad people’ for not wanting or not being able to fall in line. This is especially so for queer and trans people, people with disabilities, Black people, and witchy ‘woo-woo’ weirdos – all groups that I belong to.
We’re made to feel different, wrong, and even unlovable because of identities that society deems unacceptable. And this makes us all physically, emotionally, and mentally sick.
I am a deep and sensitive thinker using the knowledge I’ve gained from life experience and ancestral remembering to seed liberation (which I understand to be safety and belonging).
I have no desire to force my beliefs on you. I simply want to offer you what I know and see that you continue along your journey a little more brave, a little more confident, a little more inspired, and a little more you.
How much does this service cost?
This is a pay-what-you-can community offering. Get ahold of me however you prefer, and we can schedule time to chat. Email: kianaelkins@gmail.com
Are you a licensed mental health worker or therapist?
No, I am not.
I have experience working as a trauma-informed and survivor-centered advocate supporting survivors of domestic violence in rebuilding their lives. From that experience, I learned how to offer a listening ear, compassion, and solicited advice/resources to people in varying emotional states. However, I cannot and do not want to replace the experience of working with a licensed therapist or peer therapist.
